ROUTE & OV
Sanaruska is located in the low Vosges Mountains. The landscape is hilly and diverse, very suitable for wonderful walks, bike rides or nice touring past quaint villages, vast forests and beautiful views.
Sanaruska is about 50 km from Langres where there is a train station and a direct connection to Amsterdam by Flixbus. In consultation we can pick you up/drop you off.
It is also possible to travel by train to Nancy and then by bus to Contrexeville, about 25 km. from Sanaruska. Also there we can pick you up/drop you off in consultation.
TIP
If you search for trains in France (or really all of Western Europe) you will only get options via Paris (or Brussels). These are relatively fast trains but often very expensive. Another option is to take local trains (Maastricht-Liege-Luxembourg-Nancy). These are a bit slower but a lot cheaper (and in our opinion at least as much fun:)
BIKE
Yes it really does say…. Sanaruska is near the origin of the Meuse River. There is a beautiful route, along the Meuse, from Hook of Holland in the Netherlands through Belgium and France to here. So grab that two-wheeler and come this way, we’ll give you a warm welcome!
